I would love to have a mountain cabin in a great ski resort, or a guest house for that matter. And if I did I would use Slettvoll as the interior inspiration, they Norwegian company does mountain cozy with perfection! If you're ever in Stockholm , do visit their lovely shop for inspiration and a nice chat with the crew.
Back after a little summer break and very eager to transform the house, new paint, kitchen sofa, want it all!
Picky Living is such a smart idea for a classy posh looking kitchen for a less money than it looks. Plan and use your kitchen with IKEA and then pick and chose the look of doors, nobs and work tops! Also works for wardrobes!
I love the vase "meadow" from Klong, a very pretty smallish vase in glass and metal. The idea is to arrange flowers as it were a meadow. Beautiful and absolutely perfect if you want to treat yourself to fresh flowers, but don't want to spend a fortune!
There's a clear trend to convert studio apartments to small one bedrooms, sometimes with an open plan sometimes with dividing the old kitchen to bedroom and kitchen. Keeping natural light throughout the apartment the key and here is where interior windows comes in. A great design feature and adding character!
Stockholm Vitt is a blog about interior design with a Scandinavian/ New England theme.
Stockholm Vitt is a shade of white, a shade very common in Stockholm apartments. I have chosen this name as I think it perfectly captures the modern simple Scandinavian design that I love in two words.
For me Stockholm Vitt is white walls, stripped white washed floor boards, modern Scandinavian Design, simplicity and elegance, Stockholm's archipelago, sailing as well as fantastic summer houses in the Hamptons.
